From a background in sports therapy, Ian landed a job that involved pre-screening at an opticians’ practice in Cumbria. From there, he developed an interest in optical glazing and spent seven years in the lab. His journeys continued onto shopfloor management with a team of experienced staff.
Combining his vast experience with his Ophthalmic Dispensing qualification from the ABDO College (Kent), Ian is passionate about bespoke dispensing and resolving complex prescription requirements.
Outside of work Ian loves going to music festivals with his partner. He has an interest in martial arts, karting and watching formula 1 racing.
