Mathio started working at Sydney Goldwyn as Saturday and holiday cover support, while studying his A-Levels. Being inspired by the team, he pursued a career in optometry and graduated from the University of Bradford in 2013.
After working for 7 years, in the town of Diss, for a busy optical practice, Mathio returned to Leeds and rejoined Sydney Goldwyn in 2021. Since his return he has undergone further training and development to bring his skills inline with the high standards at Sydney Goldwyn.
Outside of work Mathio is devoted to his family. He enjoys running, gaming and watching football.
